that President Trump \u2018needs to be evaluated.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Doctor Jonathan Reiner has urged Congress to order an immediate health review of the President Donald Trump after a series of concerns in recent months.<\/p>\n<p>The expert has shared video which he believes needs to be \u2018evaluated\u2019 immediately by the President\u2019s medical team.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Trump compares his \u2018perfect\u2019 health to former president<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>President Donald Trump, who once described himself as the \u2018healthiest president that\u2019s ever lived,\u2019 continues to compare his \u2018perfect\u2019 health to that of former president Joe Biden, who is now battling can.cer.<\/p>\n<p>In a controversial move late last year, Trump replaced the Biden\u2019s presidential too.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Donald Trump health concerns<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Rumors of president Trump\u2019s ill health have been spreading in the press and on social media for some time, particularly after he became the oldest sitting US President in American history in January 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Speculation reached its peak in September, when the 79-year-old seemed to be missing for several days, having not attended meetings or conferences.<\/p>\n<p>The rumors even caused Trump to take to his social media platform, Truth Social, to say: \u201cNEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yet, this didn\u2019t stop the health concerns from swirling.<\/p>\n<p>Late last year, speculation heightened once again when people allegedly spotted a \u2018mysterious lump\u2018 on the President\u2019s body.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, people questioned whether Trump was wearing a left ventricular assist device, which is an implantable pump that helps the heart move blood around the body \u2013 but this is extremely unlikely; the device requires open heart surgery.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-256070\" bruise on the President\u2019s left hand revived questions about his health.<\/p>\n<p>Across a series of events, the 79-year-old was spotted with what appeared to be discoloration or light bruising on the back of his left hand \u2013 this comes after he\u2019s been spotted with bruises seemingly on his right hand.<\/p>\n<p>When asked on the matter, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt simply said (per CNN): \u201cPresident Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history.\u201d<\/p>\n<h1><strong>MRI scan<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>In late October 2025, the President told that he had an MRI at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got an MRI. It was perfect,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cI mean, I gave you the full results. We had an MRI and the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump shared that he had an MRI, though later reports said it was a CT scan, as per Forbes. This is a test that takes detailed pictures of the inside of your body.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s doctor, Sean Barbarella, told the Wall Street Journal it was performed to \u2018definitively rule out any cardiovascular issues.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Barbarella also spoke to ABC News, stating the President stays \u2018in exceptional health and perfectly suited to execute his duties as Commander in the President is in good health, they did confirm in July of last year that Trump had been diagnosed with a chronic health condition.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Trump\u2019s health diagnosis<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Press Secretary Leavitt said the 79-year-old had been experiencing swelling in his legs, as reported by the BBC.<\/p>\n<p>A \u2018comprehensive exam,\u2019 including vascular testing, was conducted.<\/p>\n<p>It was determined that the President has chronic venous insufficiency, a condition where the leg veins struggle to send blood back to the heart due to faulty valves, resulting in blood to pool.<\/p>\n<p>Leavitt shared that Trump\u2019s bruised hands, as noted by the public, were consistent with \u2019tissue damage from frequent hand shaking\u2019 while taking aspirin, which she said is \u2018part of a standard cardio-vascular prevention regimen.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Still, as mentioned previously, the press secretary gave a vaguer response regarding more White House doctor has expressed concern over.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>White House doctor speaks out<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Dr. Reiner, who once served as the cardiologist to the late Vice President Dick Cheney, is now the medical analyst for CNN.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, he shared a video on X, that he believes suggests Trump should undergo a new medical evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>The Oval Office moment shows the President appearing to close his eyes for an extended period while surrounded by officials, aides, and guests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president seems to be struggling with excessive daytime somnolence,\u201d Dr. Reiner speculated.<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cRepeatedly falling asleep with a dozen people surrounding your desk is not normal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt needs to be concern after Trump appeared \u2018unwell\u2019 during a speech, citing his tone and \u2018manic\u2019 pacing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m seriously concerned about the health of the president,\u201d he
