My sister-in-law Mindy said that with a twisted smile as we entered the private dining room I had personally paid for to celebrate my father-in-law Walter’s 70th birthday.

My name is Brandon Miller. I’m 38 years old, I’m a systems engineer, and for years I made the mistake of believing that if you quietly supported a family, that family would eventually respect you.
